One of the first vampire legends of the Crescent City, the Ursuline Convent attic is where they were supposedly kept upon their arrival. In my depiction, I like to imagine them discovering their new fate as a strength in a time when women were treated like nothing more than a role. Being honest with what you want to be and who you choose to be is important for self-growth and understanding how you can positively live your life and exemplify to others how to be more than what they have settled for. Returning to nature is as vital for humans as breathing. Coming to a more natural state by doing what you are naturally drawn to and gifted for is important, as well, to establish a sense of purpose, without which people generally tend to suffer.
